with construction specialists and development practitioners
involved in community-based approaches to safer school

The Global Alliance for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience
in the Education Sector (GADRRRES) is a multi-stakeholder
mechanism composed of UN agencies, international organisations,
and global networks. The aim of this group is to promote a
comprehensive approach to DRR education based on education
policy, plans, and programmes that are aligned with disaster
management at national, regional, district and local school site
