Erecia Hepburn
Dr. Erecia Hepburn is currently an Assistant Professor, in the School of Chemistry and Environmental Life
Sciences. A PhD and Masters Graduate of Clemson University. She has done research at The College of
The Bahamas, Tuskegee University and Clemson University and worked briefly at the South Carolina
Department of Agriculture. She is a consultant for Hepburn’s Green Consulting Group an agricultural
consulting firm, which worked on various agricultural projects around the world and in The Bahamas.
Her main areas of research focus on agri-tourism, food security, climate change, sustainability and trade.
Dr. Hepburn is also very civic minded as she is Vice President of The Bahamas Heart Association,
member of the National Progressive Institute, member of Organization of Young Professionals, a cacique
winning Junkanoo Commando and the Faculty Advisor for The Bahamas Red Cross Collegiate Chapter
along with being a disaster team member and Vice Chairman for the International Disastercommittee.
She is also the Vice President of the Caribbean Agriculture Economic Society and currently President of
Bahamas Agricultural Forum for Youth, Northern Vice President for Caribbean Agricultural Forum for
Youth and a very active member of The Progressive Liberal Party.
Keith Hinsey
Based in Nassau, Bahamas Specializing in fitness training for individuals of all levels from beginners to
competition level. I work with individuals who want to train for weight loss, body composition (lean
muscle gains/body fat reduction), sports specific training, one-on-one personal training, group training,
public & private bootcamps and TRX Suspension training. My ultimate goal is to create IMPACT by
motivating and rejuvenating overall health and wellness.
Vonya Ifill
Vonya Ifill graduated from St. Augustine's College in 2008 as the class Valedictorian and
was a recipient of the National Merit Scholarship from the Bahamian government. She
completed her undergraduate degree in International Studies at the University of Chicago
in June 2012. Upon graduating, she started her career at Baha Mar as a Baha Mar
Associate, then transitioned into the Front Office Manager for Rosewood Hotels where she
had the opportunity to train and work at five Rosewood properties around the world. She
remained committed to seeing Baha Mar opened and is now the Assistant Director of
Human Resources at Baha Mar. Vonya’s passions include youth education and
development; she is committed to laying a foundation and inspiring the next generation of
hospitality professionals in The Bahamas.
Kendeno Knowles
Kendeno Knowles is the Director of Communications for CCA South America – a subsidiary of
China Construction America and the parent company of $250 million developmentTHE
POINTE. Prior to joining CCA SA, Knowles spent nearly a decade in broadcasting
andhasworked for every local news channel including the national broadcaster - The
Broadcasting Corporationof The Bahamas.Knowles is also the editor-in-chief of Bahamian
Escapes magazine – a publication by the Bahamian Escapes Luxury Lifestyle Brand. Knowles
has traveled extensively throughout the country and around the world covering major events
including the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2011, where he also worked for four
months, earning him a UN journalism certification. His international experience also positioned
him to become a correspondent for well know international broadcasters BBC and FOX news.
