Deputy (SRO) Clint Tew West Lauderdale High/Middle School I began my law enforcement career in October 2009 at the Lauder- dale County Deten=on Facility as a correc=ons officer. In 2011, I was given a Sgt. Posi=on. I transported state inmates (Trustees) all over the state Highways in Lauderdale county to remove liLer from the road side. In 2012 I leM the Correc=ons division to further my career in law enforcement with Meridian Community College Po- lice Department. In 2014 I aLended Southern Regional Public Safety Ins=tute in HaQesburg Mississippi where I received my State Cer=fied Law Enforcement Cer=ficate. In 2015 I returned to the Lauderdale County Sheriff Department where I was hired as a School Resource Officer at West Lauderdale Elementary. I am now the SRO at West Lauderdale High/Middle School. I am a middle child with two older brothers, Daniel Boyd who is with the Drug Task Force in Lauderdale County. Brandon Boyd who works as Security Police in Jackson Ms., and a younger sister, Ash- ton Tew, who is a surgical Technician at Meridian Surgical Center. I have been happily married for 11 years to Lyndsey Tew. I have been blessed with 4 healthy children. Simeon Cruz Tew who will turn 8 this October, Bellamy June Tew who will be 3 next February, and twin boys Silas Leon Tew & Levi Clinton Tew who turned 1 this July. I enjoy hun=ng, fishing and just being outdoors, however I despise the summer months in Mississippi due to the heat. I have always said, I wish I could move away during the summer months to a place that has fall/winter weather and return during the fall/winter months in Mississippi. Just avoid summer altogether. In conclusion, when I started my law enforcement career it was my dream/goal to become a deputy with the Lauderdale County Sheriff Department. I am now living in my dream and accomplishing my goals.
