Lifestyle Keeping Fit With Nonso By Nonso Onyeka DAILY TIPS ON KEEPING FIT Keeping fit means business, being slim and sexy does not mean you are fit and healthy. There are different kinds of fruit and food that we should eat and avoid as well; it is very good to know if you are allergic to any kind of fruit or food that way you can be able to avoid unnecessary illness or skin disorders. Most slim people have more of fatigue, dizziness, and heart burn since they don’t eat well. Another cause of fatigue is lack of exercise and less intake of water. • When you wake up every morning wash your face with warm water, it helps to calm the pores of your skin and prevents pimple. • During lunch: you don’t need to eat much. Try eating carbohydrate (rice, garri, spaghetti etc) with red meat, white meat preferably white meat. • If you can’t jog for 30-45 minutes, then you can do 10 minutes exercise that will carry you throughout the day. Stretch your muscles and do a relaxation exercise. • When you come back from work or school make sure you have a nice warm bath, eat just one particular fruit before dinner. • Before having your breakfast take a whole lemon mixed with a glass of water, it helps to keep your appetite for the day, helps the brain function properly to help you cope with the stress of the day and helps to flush toxins from the body system. • During dinner you can eat anything but make sure you have vegetables in your dish and make sure you have your dinner before 8pm. • For breakfast make sure you eat extremely well, take cereals along with enough milk. If possible make smoothie- comprising of different kinds of fruit (apple included). Try this for one week and see the miracle of fruits. Note- for no account should you miss breakfast because that is the most important meal for the day, the nutrients in your breakfast carries you throughout the day. • During the duration between breakfast and lunch please make sure you take at least four glasses of water. • Before you go to bed try to drink at least three glasses of water and try to stretch your body before hitting the bed. And remember don’t forget to be happy akuna matata. Try this for at least two weeks, eat well , take a lot of water, do your daily exercise if you don’t have time to jog, you can do the 10 minutes of stretching or jog during the weekends.
