The Rains

The pitter-patter of the raindrops
As it hits the rooftops
The swaying of the trees
In the heavy breeze
The flash of lightening
Illuminates the sky
The crack of the thunder
Makes the poor dogs cry!
It brings for some
A goodnights slumber
For others lucky enough
It ignites passions
In the arms of lovers
For some it might cause worry
Of damages brought by Mother Nature
Whatever it is loss or gain
We have no choice but to wait it out
For we cannot stop the rain!
