Possibilities
The beauty of life comes from within you;
It doesn’t surround you unless you release it,
Like the roses that bloom in your garden,
Like a lost smile making its way to your face,
Nothing is impossible unless you say it is.
Hearts can fly with just a smile; the mind can swim in oceans of knowledge
But if the confidence of one’s true being is futile
Then all chances of success and contentment will diminish.
Nothing but a Reflection
I stared into the mirror, I searched for a face I once thought would never change.
The agony was overwhelming,
How astonished I was to look at my own reflection.
My human face was disguised by the realities of life,
My emotions where blocked by the hurt of my past,
I stared and stared hoping to find a heart inside the body that once accommodated me.
Time goes by and by; the seasons never fail to change.
But my life will never be the same.
