A Photographer professionally for the last 15 years. I love the adventure of learning. My educational background is ongoing. The first camera I used was a Kodak instamatic X-15- 126 film camera. I took that camera with me everywhere! My father use to tease me about my “picture taking” all the time. That was in 1970 and I haven’t looked back since. Nature, Portrait, digital art and black & white, I practiced all the time. My hometown of La Mirada, CA (down the road from Knott’s Berry Farm in Southern California) was the original “shooting ground” for most of my early images. It amuses me to look back on those images.

Why did you join 30dac?

I joined 30dac to make a commitment to a daily routine of creative. I have been house bound lately with very small children (my grand children now 5 & 10) and they are growing up fast. This venue gives me a touch of reality and connects me to the world. I just love this digital/virtual world.

I am an avid reader, so I am always reading up on all the

latest softwares and camera stuff. The first computer I owned was a Tandy 1000 in 1988. That computer was the beginning of my computer geekiness. With the digital revolution in Photography I have been able to broaden my horizons from home while raising my family. I am now encouraging my grand children in photography with gifts of cameras and educational books about photography. I love my family and photography, they are my passion in life. Thanks for taking the time to read my bio, CIAO!
