I have always been a bit 'different' to the average person, not really having friends at school was tough but it meant that I wasn't so bothered about conforming with societal norms. I spent a while in religion but that all ended and I eventually discovered alternative spirituality, which has helped me discover more of the person I really am and also has put me in touch with my creative side.

I particularly enjoy writing and maintain a blog which is located at www.andyscorner.co.uk. I am also in the process of writing my life story. I am passionate about creativity in general and desire to see people connect more to their creative side. I love music too and play the saxophone.

Why did you join 30dac?

I joined the 30 day challenge almost by chance, when I posted on my Facebook wall (gotta love Facebook) and asked whether any of my friends wanted to participate in a challenge with me (mine was to write a certain amount of poetry). Lee Ann promptly invited me to the challenge, and I joined. It was great to see the varied forms of artwork from the participants, and along the way I found out how to put my poem text onto one of my photos (I am a little technologically challenged at times) I am very impressed with the set up of this community, there are some lovely people here who all desire to express their own unique creativity - unfortunately I haven't been so involved over the last couple of months due to other commitments but I hope to be up and running again soon
