kind of crazy . Everybody has some sort of tattoo even if it ’ s just on their ring finger for their wife . They ’ ve got something . A lot of people say that their tattoos portray different aspects of their lives or tells their life story . Are any of your tattoos symbolic or anything to you or tell of a certain period of time in your life ? I have devoted pieces to my sisters , my kids , my mother , my grandmother and my wife . I have a picture of Marilyn Monroe , a portrait that was in my grandmother ’ s room , that says Norma Jeane . That ’ s Marilyn ’ s real name and that ’ s my grandmother ’ s real name . I also have Isaiah 40:31 from the Bible on my arm . Across my back it says Heaven ’ s Disciple with a portrait of Jesus Christ and a lion . Everything has some type of meaning on me . I felt like I was in the tattoo parlor once every two months getting something done , touched up or added .
Do you have one tattoo that has the most meaning to you or is there a level of equality amongst several ? My back piece I feel defines me ; it defines me and my faith . Strength , leadership and loyalty all go behind the meaning of the lion . Also knowing that God has my back … I did it for a lot more reasons than just how cool it looks . It ’ s just another reminder , any time someone talks to me about tattoos , the first thing I ’ m saying is “ Hey , wait until you see my back piece .” Do you have a specific artist who you go to ? I have all my tattoos done by one person . His name is Mark Skipper , a tattoo artist out of St . Louis Tattoo Company . He actually moved here from London . His creativity is out of this world .
