I’ve been tattooing three and a half years and I specialize in black and
gray style tattoos. I have always been intrigued with drawing. I’ve always
loved realism so that’s what I’ve focused on more than anything else. I
began getting tattooed when I was 18 and after a few tattoos, I showed
my tattoo artist a few drawings I had done and asked him to critique
them and give me some pointers. Right then and there he offered me
an apprenticeship. I never had plans of tattooing but now I can’t see my-
self doing anything else. At the moment, I work at Lucky Deville Tattoo in
Buffalo, NY, but I would like to own my own shop one day. There are so
many artists out there who inspire me like Bob Tyrrell, Josh Duffy, Antonio
Macko, and the list goes on. I’ve done a few conventions and plan on at-
tending a lot more of them. My favorite tattoos to do are portraits, espe-
cially tribute pieces for lost loved ones or children’s portraits.
