Are you doing seminars at all ? You know , the past 3 years I ’ ve told myself I ’ m not gonna do them , but this year I will be because I have a lot to offer . My seminars aren ’ t going to be about how to be a portrait artist or sit everybody down and say these are the products I use , it ’ s gonna be an open forum class , pretty much on presentation , techniques , and understanding yourself as an artist because it starts with your mind first . If you don ’ t have a clear head you won ’ t have a clear smooth tattoo .
So you ’ re known for your great ... How do you see it ? I like to call my work artist interpretation . I don ’ t look at my stuff as one style . I ’ m known for my comic book style because that ’ s what sells and what everybody wants to see , the Star Wars stuff and all of that , but I love doing realistic things like it ’ s my style of realism . I hate the whole he ’ s hyperrealism , he ’ s realism , it ’ s all the same thing you know . I ’ m looking at the photo and trying to find the best way of manipulating the photo . It ’ s my interpretation of what I see .
