When did you start playing ? I started that late in my life , like 8th grade . I didn ’ t do so great until my junior year of high school . I grew a little bit and I got really good at it .
How long did you play ? I played until I was 30 . I played in Europe for 5 years and South America for a year . One year I played in Brazil . That was phenomenal . Very passionate people for their team . I also played in Mexico for a while . I did some time in Germany , France and Luxembourg .
After your basketball career , what was your next career move ? My dad lived in Los Angeles and I had buddies out here that I would play basketball with and they invited me to do some basketball commercials . That ’ s when I got turned on to acting . After I got pretty good at doing the basketball commercials I decided I would stay in the entertainment field . Sports is definitely entertainment , so I thought I could translate my experience of playing in front of a crowd into acting . So I started looking at TV differently . I actually
