It ’ s always good when the pieces fall in line when you least expect it . Where I ’ m at now is so not what I was hoping to achieve ; it was never a thought in my mind . At that time , tattoo artists weren ’ t that cool . It wasn ’ t something that anyone was really aspiring to be . So when all of these things started happening it got really weird . I just wanted to tattoo . I desperately wanted to tattoo . I wanted that to be my job . I thought tattoos were rebellious and I thought that was cool . That ’ s all I wanted to get out of it but things took a different turn .
You ’ ve had some major highlights in your career so . Are there any moments that are your most memorable ? I did a campaign with Jourdan Dunn who ’ s a world famous supermodel . We designed a mobile phone for HTC . That was my first global campaign which was really crazy . The whole event was really surreal . It was on this stunning rooftop in London and there were a lot of celebrities there . That was really bizarre to me but really awesome . I feel like I didn ’ t really appreciate it at the time because it was so crazy . But it was really amazing . Being able to be on magazine covers and tattooing Rihanna was a really big milestone for me . Curating my first exhibition in London got a ton of TV coverage . I ’ m just really lucky . There ’ s been so many crazy things that have happened .
