THE COUNSELORS: Our staff is trained,
caring, and hilariously FUN! They have
cool camp names and make every day
unforgettable. If you come to Overnight
Camp, you'll even meet counselors from
around the world!
GET ACTIVE IN THE OUTDOORS: Summer
camp is full of awesome! With a wide
range of activities available, there is always
something to look forward to: swimming,
archery, arts and crafts, the rock wall,
boating, campfires, s'mores, and so
much more!
TAKE SAFE RISKS AND BECOME
MORE CONFIDENT: Counselors regularly
encourage campers to take safe risks,
from reaching new heights on the rock
wall to performing a goofy skit in front of
others. With a cheering squad behind them,
campers gain incredible confidence.

UNPLUG FROM TECHNOLOGY: Camp is a great
way to get back to nature and enjoy the world and
relationships without technology. At Girl Scout Camp,
we believe life is best when it is happening right in
front of you.
DEVELOP LIFE-LONG SKILLS: "Everything I know
about getting along with others, solving problems,
overcoming fears, and taking initiative, I learned at
Girl Scout Camp. Not to mention other awesome first
experiences such as rock climbing, outdoor cooking,
whitewater kayaking, backpacking, and DIY crafting.

BECOME MORE INDEPENDENT: While at
Girl Scout Camp, campers learn to be independent
thinkers and doers. Counselors cultivate each
camper’s ability to make sense of the world
based on personal observations and experiences!
Campers are given opportunities to try activities
and tasks on their own and are provided adult
assistance when needed.
MAKE TRUE FRIENDS: Camp is a special place
where true and deep friendships develop. Campers
help each other overcome fears and difficulties.
They act silly without judgment and criticism, and
share new experiences together!
