For students with no formal training,
imagine taking your first art
workshop or exploring a new
studio practice under the direction
of a skilled instructor at Anderson
Ranch. Our beginner workshops
are specifically designed for
students who are new to a
particular discipline. You will learn
the basic skills necessary to move
into more advanced classes that
pique your curiosity. Beginner
workshops are identified as
SKILL LEVEL I courses throughout
the catalog.

Center for Advanced
Mentored Studies
The Center for Advanced Mentored
Studies is a three-year mentorship
program for advanced artists.
Artists may already be working in
their chosen field and are interested
in moving their career forward with
help from our esteemed faculty. If
you are ready to take the next step
in your artistic path, look for these
workshops throughout the catalog.
