in our FabLab — Anderson Ranch’s impressive digital
fabrication lab. These workshops provide powerful tools
for self-expression in the hands of creative faculty, and
present dynamic opportunities to merge the newest
visual arts technologies with traditional processes.
A variety of workshops use the digital fabrication
technology in the FabLab and throughout multiple
studios on the Ranch campus. Explore the possibilities
with our state-of-the-art equipment, including a
computer numerically controlled (CNC) router, two
Formlabs 2 Resin Printers, four Monoprice 3-D printers,
Epilog laser engraver and cutter, 3-D scanner, and
vinyl cutter. Digital fabrication equipment is powered
by Fusion 360, Rhino, Sheet Cam, MasterCam, Aspire,
Illustrator and Makerware software.

OPEN TO ALL Students of any skill and
knowledge level.
LEVEL I Students are new to digital
fabrication and have no formal training, but
have some computer skills.
I
LEVEL II Students have experience working
with computer-aided design with basic
principles of CAM/software.
II
LEVEL III Students have some formal training
in digital fabrication, experience with a
variety of materials and fabrication processes,
and know how to use CNC, 3-D printers, or laser
cutters competently and safely. Students have a
portfolio of their work.
III
LEVEL IV Students have advanced skill and
knowledge of digital fabrication. Students
are highly motivated and have multiple portfolios
of their artwork.
