Visiting Artist Program
The Visiting Artist Program brings
acclaimed artists of all disciplines to
Anderson Ranch, where they are free
to explore new work and complete
projects in their areas of expertise.
Workshop students engage with
Visiting Artists through studio visits and
lectures, gaining inspiration and insight
into the practice of some of today’s
leading contemporary artists. Since
1980, the program has fostered special
projects in all studios supported at
the Ranch.

their inspiration, creative process and
studio practice. These insightful talks
feature different art disciplines and
presenters on Sunday and Tuesday
evenings throughout the summer
workshop season. All are encouraged
