MONDAY: Science in the Great Outdoors
Have you ever wondered what critters live inside the murky waters of a marsh or hopped with frogs around a pond?
We’ll use nets, buckets, magnifiers, and our curiosity to explore the waters of Blandford and the creatures that call
them home.
TUESDAY: Planet Protectors
Calling all nature lovers! The earth needs you! We’ll spend the day discovering our powers to make the world a better
place by helping the plants and animals that live around us. Join us for a day of flying through forests, protecting
prairies, and vanquishing those pesky invasives! Campers will end the day equipped with ideas of how they can be
Planet Protectors at home and beyond.
WEDNESDAY: Life Long Ago
Dig for clues to our human past and discover what it would be like to use the skills, materials, and tools needed to
survive in Michigan 500 years ago.
FRIDAY: Farm Friday
There is always fun to be had at the Blandford Farm! Spend time with the chickens, goats, and farmers, play games
in the fields, and help grow delicious foods. This day is filled with fun to give your camper a taste of life on the farm!

Dino Stomp
Time for a dinosaur dance! Experience life as herbivorous and carnivorous dinos, discover the ancient tropical
habitats they called home, and go on a dinosaur dig to learn about life long ago!
Aqua Explorers
As summer gets warmer, let’s cool down by the edge of the water! Prepare to get wet as we explore the marsh, pond
and creek, look for water creatures, conduct water experiments, and discover the fun of H2O!
Nocturnal Nature
Could you survive as a creature of the night? This week we will learn about Michigan animals that work through the
night and how these “night owls” thrive in the dark. Campers will have a chance to meet and study some of
Blandford’s residential nocturnal critters and observe their daytime sleeping quarters.
Michigan Legends
Buckle up for a wild ride through time! Campers will hop in a time machine to experience the daily lives of children
50, 150, and 500 years ago. We’ll harness the power of our imaginations, great stories, and helpful historians to
explore Michigan’s past.
Farm To Table: Culinary Adventures at the Farm
From the smallest seeds to a delicious dinner, discover how food goes from the ground to your table on this culinary
adventure at the farm. Campers will learn how fruits, veggies, and herbs grow and we’ll harvest some of these foods
and prepare them for eating. Get ready to roll up your sleeves to work in the garden and learn basic cooking skills.
And don’t forget - we’ll be tasting along the way!
