A picnic area will be reserved for your group to enjoy our
beautiful lakefront. Parking restrictions are in effect. (City
police patrol and check for valid permit holders). Rentals are
unavailable on holidays. Morning Paddleboard | Ages 16-Adults
Summer Rental Fees (May-September)
Picnic area for up to 20 people with two picnic tables, for 2
hours
Resident: $30
Non-Resident: $60
*Fees due at time of booking

Sat-Sun 11:30am-1:30pm or 3:30-5:30pm
Registration Information & Fees
Registration requests must be made in-person at least 10 days
prior to the picnic date to secure a permit. Open reservations
start Monday, April 1. Parking restrictions/limits, Park District
programs/events and type of use are taken into consideration
for permit approvals. Please contact the Manager of Aquatics,

Daily, 7am-7pm
Start your morning with a serene paddle, enjoying the sight
of birds flying, the glimmer of the sun on the lake and the
sounds of nature. Life jackets are provided. Min/Max: 4/12. This

Old Fashioned Games | Ages 6- Adult
Being born in the 21st century, you are a natural at all things
electronic. Do you think you would have the same mastery
over games that were popular 200 years ago? Try your luck
with award winning toys from the past! Learn about a simpler
life by playing old fashioned games like rolling hoop, jacks,
knee coup, blowing bubbles, or flying a kite. Min/Max: 6/20.

The one-of-a-kind Rosewood Beach Interpretive Center
celebrates our great Lake Michigan and its shoreline. The center
hosts a variety of ecological and nature programs for day camps,
local schools, and the general public. Casual visitors can also enjoy
interpretive signage throughout the site illustrating Rosewood’s
restoration efforts in progress and the fascinating lakefront
ecological system.
