Rosewood Beach One-Day Family & Adult Programs A picnic area will be reserved for your group to enjoy our beautiful lakefront. Parking restrictions are in effect. (City police patrol and check for valid permit holders). Rentals are unavailable on holidays. Morning Paddleboard | Ages 16-Adults Summer Rental Fees (May-September) Picnic area for up to 20 people with two picnic tables, for 2 hours Resident: $30 Non-Resident: $60 *Fees due at time of booking Available Dates May 25- Sept 1 (excluding holidays) Mon-Fri 3:30-5:30pm Sat-Sun 11:30am-1:30pm or 3:30-5:30pm Registration Information & Fees Registration requests must be made in-person at least 10 days prior to the picnic date to secure a permit. Open reservations start Monday, April 1. Parking restrictions/limits, Park District programs/events and type of use are taken into consideration for permit approvals. The center hosts a variety of ecological and nature programs for day camps, local schools, and the general public. Casual visitors can also enjoy interpretive signage throughout the site illustrating Rosewood’s restoration efforts in progress and the fascinating lakefront ecological system.
