Minimum for all classes is 5 participants. Classes may be
combined or cancelled if class minimums are not met.

Jump and Spin | Basic 5-Pre Freeskate Gold
levels only
Skaters learn Jump & Spin technique, gliding moves, edge
control and performance skills.

Showcase Skills | Basic 3- Freeskate 2
Learn the skills, tips and tricks for being a stronger skater and
better performer. Try out for one of Centennial’s Showcase
Teams.

Summer Skating Camp | Ages 6 & up
Skaters may participate in one or more weeks. Levels are
divided into the following;
Bronze - Basic 5- Freeskate 2
Silver - Freeskate 3-5
Gold -Freeskate 6 and above
Two-hour on-ice class and 45-min off-ice practice. On-ice
program includes technique, power, moves in the field
and performance training. Off-ice programs are held in the
gymnastics room with access to the spring floor, balance
beams and tumble track. Training includes jumps, core
strength, flexibility and balance. There will be US Learn to Skate
and an official US Figure Skating test session if enough skaters
are ready to test. For after camp activities, see gymnastics and

HOCKEY
Cross Ice Hockey | Ages 4-6
For skaters who have passed Tot 3 or Basic 3 Learn to Skate Level
Skaters learn how to play the game on a smaller scale. Hockey
is played across the width of the rink (rather than the length).
Hockey skates, hockey helmet with a mask, shin & elbow pads,
hockey gloves and hockey stick are required.
