The Deerfield Young Warriors and Highland Park Little Giants
have combined forces to compete in the Central Suburban
Youth Football League. The team will go up against local
competition from nearby communities and players will face
future CSL foes. Practices begin in mid-August. Games start the
weekend after Labor Day and run through the first weekend
of November. Games and practices are split between Deerfield
and Highland Park locations.

NFL Flag Football | Grades 1-8
NFL Flag Football athletes enjoy a safe, action-packed team-
oriented experience. Registered players receive a licensed
NFL Football jersey and soft-shell helmet. The helmet must be
returned at the end of the season. No program on Sep 2,

Whether you’re new to the game, play for fun, or love to
compete, these leagues provide a positive team atmosphere
for all skill levels. Park district instructors and volunteer coaches
motivate players using the principles of the Positive Coaching
Alliance. All players should register based on the grade they are
in for the 2018-19 school year. Registration fee includes jersey,
pants, hat, and socks, but only a jersey and hat for summer

Instructors and coaches teach the fundamentals. Games consist
of player and coach pitching. Teams practice and/or play on the
days/times listed below. Practices and games are assigned a 75
