ENRICHMENT GUIDE Welcome Letter Dear Friends of Napa Parks and Recreation: Welcome to the Summer 2019 issue of the City of Napa’s Recreation Guide. In this edition, we are celebrating the Napa River and all the exciting opportunities it has to offer. Be sure to check out the featured article regarding the Main Street Boat Dock, our boat and kayak launches and the activities and programs available on the Napa River! Along with the many activities available for you on the water, we also have an abundance of options for your kids during the summer months including Camp Napa, Great Outdoors Camp, Leader in Training, sports camps, specialty camps and swim lessons, just to name a few. We can’t forget to mention the special events scheduled for Summer 2019. Back for another year is Napa Lights the Valley, July 4. The community celebration occurs at Oxbow Commons Park from 5:00 -10:00 pm and includes live music, delicious food and of course, fireworks beginning at 9:30 pm. We’ll also be bringing back our popular summer concert series, Third Thursdays @ Fuller Park. As you browse through the catalogue, you will find over 200 classes and programs available to enjoy all Summer. This issue also includes the State of the City annual report. We think you will be surprised to learn about all the exciting progress that is happening throughout Napa! We’re looking forward to a wonderful, fun-filled Summer.
