Free annual Earth Day celebration in Oxbow Commons.
Enjoy environmental exhibits, children’s activities, local
food, beer, and wines - and live music from bands who’ll
be playing at BottleRock! Includes a special Drive Electric
display. Event hosted by the Environmental Education
Coalition of Napa County (EECNC).

This course is designed as an introduction to outrigger canoe
paddling. We will cover tradition, culture, vocabulary and
equipment. After a brief introduction we will continue on the
water. No experience necessary!

History of Alston Park

Join the City of Napa on a docent led tour of Alston Park. The
second Saturday of the month, our parks docent will lead a one
hour walking tour of the park. Information on history of the
land, transformation into the park and highlights of the local flora
and fauna will be topics of discussion. Appropriate footwear and
weather appropriate clothing is recommended. The tour will
begin at 10am and meet at the information kiosk just off the south
parking lot close to Trower Avenue.

This monthly discussion group will learn about and share
experiences related to gardening and nature. This self-directed
group will include topics such as seed planting, keeping a garden
log and open discussions. Master Gardeners will participate in
select topics. There will be occasional guest speakers and field trips.

From a basic foundation in cartooning, this illustration class will
focus on giving animals and other objects human characteristics
and emotions. Walt Disney built his empire on this principal! It’s
all about having a good time! Bring some pencils and a 9 x 12 inch
