Play Ball! Returning for its Third Season, the Junior Giants Baseball & Softball Program is a FREE program which gives kids ages 5-13 the opportunity to play baseball or softball over the summer in a non-competitive & FUN environment. The program runs June 10th through August 3rd, with a Weekday evening practice and a Saturday game. Throughout the season, participants will have an opportunity to earn different Giants items through participation in practices, games, the Four Bases of Character Development, the Junior Giants Reading Program, and the Anti-Bullying Campaign. In order to help make the program FREE, parent volunteers are needed as Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Team Parents. Training is provided and all volunteers who participate during the season will be offered FREE tickets to a Giants Game. Registration opens April 1st and closes May 20th. To register you can either register online at https://www.mlb.com/giants/ community/fund/junior-giants/league-finder or at the Napa Parks & Recreation Office (1850 Soscol Ave. Suite 201).
