The Kiawah Conservancy is a chartered non-profit, section 501(c) (3), grassroots organization estab- lished by Island residents in 1997. The Conservancy provides the vision, leadership, and resources necessary to preserve and enhance Kiawah Island’s unique balance of nature and development. KP Since 1988, Kiawah Partners (KP) has been the master planner and community developer committed to using an environmentally sensitive Master Plan as a compass, preserv- ing and protecting the natural beauty of the Island’s 10,000 acres.
