HEALTH INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
University policy requires all international students on non-immigrant F and J visa classifications to have health insurance coverage while attending Texas State .
» International students must purchase the international student health plan endorsed by the university .
» Students must purchase the health insurance directly through Academic Health Plans ( AHP ) prior to the first day of classes .
» Students with existing health insurance plans may qualify for a waiver by submitting information to AHP .
