After the earthquake in Nepal,
my family had to be resettled.
Within three weeks, my advisor and
others in my department helped
me get my ticket to go back home.
People here are helpful, kind and
generous. They are like family
members. During Thanksgiving,
our department has a tradition of
a big potluck dinner, so we don’t
feel like we are away from home.
