NPW Deepens Digital Footprint
NPW WEBSITE
The NPW website is the online hub for National Prevention Week and provides resources, materials, and tools in English and Spanish.
The website helps those participating in NPW plan their events and activities and shares supporting prevention information from
federal agencies and national organizations.
• More than 31,000 people visited the NPW website over the course of the year. More than 10% of those visits occurred during
NPW.
• The homepage was viewed more than 23,000 times during the year. The fact that 60% of these visits came from Google
indicates that there is broad awareness of NPW.
• In the months leading up to and including NPW (March through May), visits to the Spanish-language website were up 160%
compared to the same period in 2018.
• The most downloaded resource was the National Prevention Week Fact Sheet, with more than 1,400 downloads.
• The prevention community helped raise awareness of NPW and its brand by downloading the web banner graphic 272 times.
