The intersection of Interstate
45 and FM 646 is a hotspot of
retail activity that has served the
everyday needs of local and visiting
shoppers well, with a Walmart
Super Center, Super Target, H-E-B,
Home Depot, Lowe’s, TJ Maxx,
Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Best Buy,
JC Penney and Kohl’s.
Texas is home to many
outdoorsmen, and League City is
no exception. Those in search of
the biggest selection of hunting
gear, fishing tackle, camping
equipment and more have one of
the best major outdoor retailers
right in their backyard at Cabela’s
in the Pinnacle Park shopping
center. Up the road, Baybrook
Mall, at Interstate 45 and Bay Area
Boulevard, there’s Dick’s Sporting
Goods, Field & Stream and REI,
giving area anglers, hunters and
campers more shopping options
for all their outdoor equipment.
There’s nothing like a big meal
to replenish your energy after a
big shopping trip, and League City
has a wide selection of cuisine,
from every fast food restaurant
you can think of to the finest
dining establishments. Barbecue,
bakeries, Cajun, Chinese, deli,
Italian, Peruvian, seafood — you
name it, League City’s got it.
A few recent additions to the
city’s fare include Little Bella Mia
and Kabuki Japanese Grill & Sushi
Bar at Pinnacle Park and First
Watch Restaurant League City
Towne Center.
Some Main Street/518 Favorites
include Red River Cantina, Fuzzy’s
Taco Shop, Legends Sports Grill,
Pierogi Queen, and Opus Ocean
Grille.
For a night out with your
sweetheart, there are many
upscale dining experiences
to choose from. The recent
expansions at Baybrook Mall
include Perry’s Steakhouse &
Grille, Whiskey Cakes and The
Yard House, and nearby Kemah
Boardwalk also offers several high
end dining options, complete with
a water-front view.
