HOT SPOTS Other business news around the city includes: • King’s Bierhaus, a German food restaurant and beer house, is under construction at 828 West FM 646 and should be open by summer 2019. • I  NEOS Olefins & Polymers USA, a manufacturer of petrochemicals, plastics, specialty chemicals, and gas and oil products, purchased the 60,000-square- foot building it had been leasing, hired new full- time employees, expanded its operations and is bringing their research and development team to League City. • Red River Cantina, 1911 E. Main St, opened in February in a building formerly occupied by Red River Bar-B-Que & Grill, which in 2017 moved into a new 10,000-square-foot building behind the old one. • League City parks are popular spots throughout the city and host some of the area’s biggest events, including the League City Music Festival.
