Discover Lessons
Get off to a great start with a FREE 2 hour lesson!
At Mt Buller we offer a special lesson
for first-timers included in the cost of a
Discover Pass, so you don’t pay any more
than a regular lift pass to get started safely.
Just a couple of hours with our friendly
instructors will have you feeling comfortable
on your ski and snowboard gear and
mastering some basics - like how to STOP!
Then the Discover pass gives you access
to beginner lifts so you can practice your
skills and start to experience the thrill of
sliding on snow.
WHERE DO I JOIN A
DISCOVER LESSON?
If you are visiting for the day, one option is
to ride up the Northside Express lift from the
carpark and take a mid-morning Discover
lesson in this gentle beginner zone. If you are
in the Village, ride a free shuttle bus to the
Ski & Snowboard School or walk up from
the Village to this popular beginner area.
CAN I BOOK IT AHEAD?
Yes, and we recommend booking ahead online
for the best price and secure a place in a lesson.
Lessons are usually offered at 9am, 11am and
1.30pm and also at 10am on weekends. Check

WHERE IS THE
SKI & SNOWBOARD SCHOOL?
The Ski & Snowboard School is right on the
Bourke Street ski run across from the ABOM.
