Firesleeve
Firesleeve & Firefoil
MSCN offers several brands of FIRESLEEVE to protect engine hoses and wires
in high temperature applications. Sized for stainless steel braided hose.
Use I.D. dimensions for other hoses or cables.
Firesleeve - Light Weight
Lightweight fi resleeve is a very effective insulator. This
silicone covered fi berglass sleeve is designed to protect
hose assemblies in areas of high radiant heat its braided
construction maintains excellent fl exibility over its
temperature range of -40°C to +220°C (-40°F to +428°F).
The sleeve is self extinguishing and has excellent fl uid
resistance. This sleeve can also be used to protect wire
harnesses, sensor wires and, due to its elastic structure,
small electrical components.

Firesleeve MSCN Firesleeve
Manufactured from high bulk braided fi breglass sleeving and
coated with a custom compounded black silicone rubber to protect
and extend the life of hoses, cables and wires. This is a smooth silver silicone coated glass sleeving, engineered
to withstand continuous temps to 500°F. It can provide short term
direct fl ame protection and is expandable for easy installation over
completed hose assemblies.
Continuous Operating Temperature: 260°C / 500°F
Max short term exposure: 1300°C / 2370°F

Fire Foil Lite
An ultra-lightweight fi berglass laminated sleeve with a mylarized
aluminium surface for radiant heat protection to 800°F, using an
internal seam for a smooth exterior with no visible stitching. Repels
brake fl uid.
Fire Foil II
Fire Foil II is a very lightweight fi berglass sleeving laminated with a
mylarized aluminium surface that provides radiant heat protection to
800°F. The mylar surface resists abrasion and brake fl uid.
