We tried not to sleep all night long watching my father and that partisan who were talking silently about their plans where to go and how to find help for all those people hiding in the forest. Unfortunately, we were very tired and felt asleep… In my dreams I was fighting with a scary dragon and almost defeated but suddenly I heard someone’s silent and gentle voice. “Wake up! They have already gone… We must hurry!” Amy was whispering. I jumped from sleep and looked around. It was dark, coal was still firing in our fireplace, people were sleeping and only Amy was sitting next to me holding my hand. I couldn’t see the girl’s face well but her eyes in the pale light were amazing. I opened my mouth to say something but Amy grumbled angrily, “Are you going to stare at me until morning?! Get up!”

We left the campsite as quickly as we could trying to catch up my dad and the partisan but we didn’t find them. They most likely went out at night when I was fighting with dragons in my dreams. Then I proposed Amy to go to the town and visit my uncle who lived near the railway station and could tell us about a real situation in the town and give advice what to do further.
