I woke up and first I thought was, ‘today is my birthday! An unusual 18th birthday!’ I was still thinking in bed how to mention this day. I dreamed that my birthday would be loud and festive with a lot of people and entertainments. I started to think about my guests. I thought about him too. Being in bed I responded to all my birthday's greetings which I received by messenger. I needed to get up of the bed and get ready to the birthday's party.
I had to start my special day. During breakfast I invited all my best friends to this festival. Emilly, Eva and Lily agreed to arrive and at the same time they were surprised, because I needed to celebrate and do something more fun than studying. Probably they were right… I was so happy. Suddenly I remembered him, but I didn’t have his phone number or any contacts to invite him to my special day. Whatever, I needed to get ready.
All my girls and I were ready for this evening. Inside there were a lot of lights, the music was loud and the atmosphere was very warm. I was grateful to everyone who came to my special day. They nodded to me with happiness and joy. But I thought only about Jake. I couldn't forget his big ice blue eyes, friendly smile... I wanted to see him and touch him! And suddenly I felt the heat of arms on my eyes and shoulders. There were Emilly, Eva and Lily, my three fantastic friends.
‘You look so pretty,’Emilly hugged me.
‘If he was here, he would be yours,’ Lily said with a smile.
‘A real princess!’ Eva shouted.
It was wonderful. We danced, sang and had fun. The18th birthday was only once in my life. When the party was over, Emilly came to me and said, ‘Your birthday is not over yet. Go home! Real surprise is waiting for you!’
