At last the rain had stopped and we all thought that everything was over. Meanwhile, I noticed that the water was not going up but we were still trapped in my brother’s house. For some time we were safe and we still had some food supplies.

Gustas called us once, informing about the panicked London, about people shouting and screaming for help, he even saw some sank bodies floating in water. It was difficult to reach the airport as there were no public transport. That was his last call, as his mobile phone discharged.

Soon it started to get cold inside and my daughter got sick. We found some medicine but it didn't help and she continued to fever. It was the hardest moments in my life. At that time I didn't know what to do or what’s going to happen to my family. My daughter’s health was getting worse, the fever was really bad, me, and Milana didn't know what to do with it. Suddenly we heard voices outside:

“Hello, are there any survivors?”

Those voices were rescuers.

“Yes, we are over here”, Milana shouted.

“My daughter is very sick.”

They answered:

“Ok, keep calm, we will try to rescue you.”

I put a kid on my shoulders and my wife put a kid on her shoulders, and we were wading through the water, which was about waist-high. Lifeguards in a boat picked us up and ferried us across the deepest floodwaters. They took us to the hospital. Finally, we thought that we were safe and we were in a good hands.

We were waiting in the patients’ lounge for a doctor to examine our daughter. On the radio there were announcements saying that rain wasn't the main reason for sea level to raise. The main reason was a global warming which caused ice melting and big amount of water flowing into the oceans. Water raised a sea level for about ten meters. The cities were sinking.

Suddenly, the hospital started to crash, quake and vibrate, we saw walls screw up…
