Behind the window the rain was coming down in sheets. It was cold outside. The drops of rain fell heavily on the sill, as if to show that it was already autumn. But at home, it was warm and nice, it gave you peace of mind. The heat, released by a furnace, created a beautiful atmosphere which for the cold of autumn you couldn't resist. Tony, a fifteen-year-old boy, was sitting comfortably and reading. Not simply a book. He was reading legends. Books in general was his cup of tea, but reading legends gave him the greatest pleasure. Moreover, Tony read various legends and strange stories with a hope to discover the secret of his grandfather John. Before John passed away, all the time of his life Tony's grandfather wore a strange ring with somebody's image. The ring travelled from generation to generation in their tribe. That unique accessory became their family relic.
But John, the grandfather of Tony, did not tell anyone who he, after his death, would leave this ring to and hid it in a place where no one would likely have the thought of looking for it. For the other family members, Tony's goal to find the grandfather's mysterious legacy seemed pointless. But he was persistent and would seek for it until he found it. And this is just the dawn of an autumn evening, when he was browsing the pages of an old book, he found an old envelope between the horrific stories which was greased with something, and its yellowed angles said a lot about the
