Born and raised in Venice, Chef & Owner Stefano Roman arrived in Chicago
at 33. He began cooking professionally simply because his natural talent
enabled him to do so. Brought up by the rich traditions of European home
cooking, PR Italian Bistro specializes in rustic, ‘bistro-style’, Italian-inspired,
global cuisine. Stefano’s talents are further showcased in his daily blackboard
menu, where his creativity shines and dishes are composed based on his
imaginative cravings and local market availability. His goal is to bring unique,
creative, exceptional meals to the plate in a way that will keep you coming
back for more.
With Chef Stefano’s creations at the forefront, the Bar at PR, headed up by
partner and wife, Juliana Montebello-Roman, offers a hand-picked selection
