“We Train Men”

The mission of the International Christian Brotherhood (ICB) is to establish a network of Christian men committed to integrity, brotherhood and service. Established in 1997 by Reverend A.R. Bernard, Founder and CEO of Christian Cultural Center, ICB seeks to strengthen, partner with and establish other men's ministries around the world. Our purpose is to express authentic love for God through a lifestyle of loving our neighbors as ourselves.

Using a curriculum based on traditional fraternal models, we take applicants through an ever-evolving “Manhood Curriculum” designed to forge bonds of brotherhood and encourage community service. The first part of our training curriculum is online at http://cccinfo.org/icbcourse. We build relationships to support, encourage, and hold each other accountable to being men of character. Our training includes discovering and growing in our Christian identity, healing from childhood wounds, cultivating thriving marriages, being loving fathers, and adopting practical life skills on finances, time management, and more. After the completion of the curriculum, men are equipped to start their own men’s accountability and affinity groups.

Our fraternal vision has served over one thousand men; our members are serving the church and the community.

ICB members serve local churches such as Christian Cultural Center, Calvary Fellowship AME, Soul Saving Station in Harlem, Trinity Christian Center in Elizabeth, NJ, St. John’s Baptist Church in Queens, and many others. Mandatory to the completion of the curriculum is active community service, which creates enduring relationships between the men and the community. Even after completing the requirements, our members remain active with organizations such as New York City Rescue Mission, Habitat for Humanity, the Father’s Heart, and more.

In addition, ICB offers study groups, activities and events that are open to all men. Over the years these groups have included outdoor activities, organized sports, and other recreational endeavors. ICB also sponsors annual men’s events with a host of inspiring speakers addressing men’s issues. We recently launched our Manhood Studies that provide an opportunity for ICB members to lead other men into deeper understanding and study of the Holy Bible. This weekly event provides a safe, nurturing space that fosters transparency, grace and brotherhood.
