Rodney Patterson is the author of Guard Your Gates: Simple Steps to High Productivity. He is a husband, father, leader of men, keynote speaker, and blogger. He has worked in the insurance industry for 29 years and currently serves as an AVP Manager of Property claims.
As an experienced public speaker, Rod speaks to hundreds of men in public presentations and workshops and through his blog, "The Lit Pathway," teaching individuals to become better versions of themselves.
He is the president of CCCLI Good News Orators, the Christian Cultural Center Long Island Campus’s Toastmasters Club founded by Pastor Jamaal Bernard and the Area Director for Toastmasters District 46.
Since 1997, Rod has volunteered for the International Christian Brotherhood (ICB) and currently serves as the ICB Coordinator responsible for leadership development and brand expansion. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from York College and lives in Suffolk County on Long Island with his wife, Katrina, of twenty seven years and their two children, Ericka and Shane.
