Register Today! How to Register To reserve your camper’s spot immediately, go to www.gssne.org and register online. Pay the full balance or the $35 non-refundable deposit with a debit/credit card. All payment balances are due in full by the registration deadline for your camp session (2 weeks prior). GSSNE reserves the right to cancel any registration not paid in full by the registration deadline. Girls not currently registered as Girl Scouts are required to pay a one-time membership fee of $35. This GSUSA membership is valid through September 30, 2019. Registration Deadlines All camp registration deadlines are one full week before the start of each camp session. Please check the specific listed registration deadline for your favorite camp session(s) and register early to make sure you reserve your spot! Camp Paperwork Physicals are no longer required to attend any of our camps, including Promising Acres! We hope this makes the paperwork process a little bit easier for our families. A full list of immunizations signed by a physician, will be required at Promising Acres due to Massachusetts State Law. All camp attendees must complete a Transportation Release Form and Health History Form during the online registration process. Adult campers attending the Summer Outdoor Series campouts must also complete the same forms for safety and accreditation reasons. 22 Cancellations, Refunds, and Transfers Cancellations and refund requests must be submitted and received at the GSSNE Office by the program’s registration deadline. Until the registration deadline, a full refund less the $35 deposit per person will be granted. In the event of GSSNE cancelling a camp program due to low enrollment, families will be contacted to discuss a transfer to another program, or to receive a refund. In all other circumstances, any monies paid (less the nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit) will be refunded only if: • The camper is placed on a waitlist or if the financial assistance amount requested is not fully granted. • The camper cannot attend due to illness or injury. A letter from a physician must accompany a written request for the refund. • The camper is sent home from camp due to illness or injury. Refunds are prorated in such cases and will be made only at the written request of the parent/guardian. Please note that refunds will not be given if the camper leaves early for any other reason (including homesickness). Refunds will also not be issued due to inclement weather. A $15 transfer fee will be applied to a camper’s registration balance each time a change is made to a camper’s session, program, or camp (unless the change is requested by GSSNE, due to program cancellation).
