There's No Place Like Camp. CAMP HOFFMAN A typical day at Overnight Camp 2850 Ministerial Road, West Kingston, RI 02892 Founded in 1921, Camp Hoffman is one of the oldest Girl Scout camps in the country, and sits on 173 acres on Larkin Pond. Camp Hoffman emphasizes high adventure and waterfront activities, and is where you’ll met our incredible camp counselors! General camp activities may include: archery, rock wall, swimming (lessons and free swim), boating, team building activities, high and low ropes challenge courses, GaGa Ball, sports and games, arts & crafts, hiking, and cookouts. We hope to see you in 2021 for our 100th birthday party! What to Expect Overnight Camp is lots of fun and you may be faced with some new challenges, too! There’ll be swimming every day, using your flashlight to find the toilet at night time, trying lots of new foods, and waving goodbye to technology! You’ll be sleeping in a tent, communicating with home via snail mail, and making lots of fun memories! Each day you will get to do different activities from boating to archery, no two days of camp are ever alike. All of our programs offer our traditional camp activities, with an added twist based off of the theme you choose to register for. Don’t worry, just because an activity may not be listed under the program, you will still get to participate in all that camp has to offer from cookouts to camp skills. Please note we do not provide flashlights, bug nets, bug spray, or sunscreen— please pack your own! JUST FOR FUN DAYS We always have awesome all-camp theme days and games at camp!
