Session 1
July 8-July 12
Registration deadline: June 24
Glitter and Goo
Do you like messes and concoctions? Do you believe
that glitter is more than just an accessory, it’s a
lifestyle? Find out what happens when we turn gross
into an art form. You might experiment with a lava
lamp, eat “dirt”, or create sparkly ooblek. Explore all
other camp activities as well.
Dumbledore’s Army
Welcome to a week of wizardry adventures! Delve into
oozing potions, herbology, and a little bit of magic, just
like Harry Potter. Spend time conquering your fears
with your friends and competing for house points!
Session 2
July 15-July 19
Registration deadline: July 1
Juliette’s Treasure Hunt
Juliette’s pearls are missing and we need your help!
Use your spyglass to follow the clues and develop your
treasure hunting skills. Letterbox your way through a
swashbuckling good time!
A Pirate’s Life for Me!
Ahoy there, mateys! Spend your week following a
treasure map for clues as you letterbox and orienteer
your way through camp. Learn basic outdoor skills that
will help in your “X Marks the Spot” challenge at the end
of the week. Learn the tools of the trade like geocaching,
hiking, archery and more.
Session 3
July 22-July 26
Registration deadline: July 8
Mini Makers
Do you love tinkering? Imagine all the fun things you
can build with marshmallow bricks and toothpick
sticks! You’ll have so much fun making and unmaking
that you’ll never want to leave.
Be Bold and Build
If you come…you can build it! Use common tools
12
to create a unique project while at camp. Swing a
hammer, twist a screwdriver, and hone your dexterity
while sawing. How about a cardboard design
challenge? In-between construction, take a swim or a
hike in the woods.
Session 4
July 29-August 2
Registration deadline: July 15
Crafty Critters
Come to camp to create! If you love to use your
imagination and be creative, you’ve come to the right
place. You and other doodlebugs can make nature
mobiles, paint a picture inspired by the plants around
you, and create your very own bug wings. Display your
artwork for fellow campers at the end of the week.
Paint, Clay and Papier-mâché
Get your hands dirty as you get creative! Explore your
artistic side with a different project each day. Try new
techniques of upcycling and eco-cycling to become
a resourceful artist using the world around you. Add
splashes of color and dabble with texture as you
create your own masterpiece. Exhibit your art on the
last day of camp.
Session 5
August 5-August 9
Registration deadline: July 22
Little Chefs *
A pinch of this and a dash of that—enjoy a culinary
adventure at camp! Whether you’re a chef in the
making or a newbie, grab your apron and chef’s hat
and join us to make snacks for yourself and your
friends. Your tasty treats will give you the energy to
hike, swim, and do all the activities you love at camp!
The Great Camp Cook-off *
As Julia Child said, “Try new recipes, learn from
your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun!”
Test your knowledge with various outdoor culinary
challenges this week! You’ll be cooking or creating
a different delight every day. Go on an ingredient
scavenger hunt and practice introductory knife skills,
learn about measurements, time management,
sanitation and safety, and more.
*We will do our best to accommodate any food allergies. Please don’t forget to send lunch with your camper during these sessions!
