Leveraging Collaborating
Organizations for Impact
Finding and collaborating with other organizations and agencies who are working in mental
health generally and suicide prevention specifically was a priority for SAMHSA when planning
Awareness Day 2019. Bolstered by an already impressive roster of national collaborating
organizations, this year the partnership strategy centered around engaging organizations that
have expertise in suicide prevention efforts and are leading the nation in this area.
