Maui featured coverage of Awareness Day 2019
events and the suicide prevention theme. Many
NBC affiliates across the country also mentioned
SAMHSA’s Awareness Day event because of the
NBC4 partnership, amplifying media coverage of
the observance and the topic of suicide prevention
in youth. The NBC Los Angeles affiliate shared an
article and the livestream for the event as well.
