Canadian Wilderness Artist Residency presents: Five-Minute Art Talks (KIAC Ballroom) Saturday, Aug 17 from 2:30-4pm Twelve selected artists from across Canada are arriving in Dawson City after a sixteen-day canoe trip with the Canadian Wilderness Artist Residency (CWAR). This one month-long program connects artists of all mediums with each other, their practice, and the natural and cultural landscapes of Yukon. Festival Participants are invited to attend a series of “mini” artist talks. Each CWAR artist will describe their work using whatever method they choose within a strict five-minute time-limit. Guests are invited to stay for one, two or all twelve five-minute presentations. Variety, intrigue and ridiculousness guaranteed!
