Jody Beaumont: Hand Embroidery Basics

Come give embroidery a try! Chat with Jody about the accessibility of embroidery and the wide ar-
ray of applications and then try your hand at a few basic techniques! Participants are encouraged
to drop in for a quick stitch or stay for a while and work on a small take home project. Everyone is
welcome to add to a community embroidery sampler.
Jeake Armstrong: Traditional Black Smith Iron Work
Demo only
Watch Jeake demonstrate traditional iron work using a small hand crank coal forge. A collection
of antique pieces gifted or gathered from the old dump, along with his own works and illustra-
tions showing the step by step process of how something is will be on display.
