Doug Casebeer
Associate Director; Artistic Director, Ceramics and Sculpture;
Chair of Artists-in-Residence Program
Doug is in his 34th year of conducting workshops at the Ranch. He received his M.F.A. in ceramics
from Alfred University and his B.F.A. from Wichita State University. Doug’s service to the field has
involved outreach in rural Jamaican schools, technical support and assistance for Nepali potters, and
advising art centers in Chile and Hawai'i. His artwork is in collections around the world, including a
permanent installation in 2007 at the Yingge Museum of Ceramics in Taiwan. In 2009, Doug was
elected to the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva, Switzerland, and was a featured artist at
the Chinese Academy of Fine Art in Beijing.

Andrea Wallace
Director of Programs; Artistic Director, Photography & New Media;
Chair of Advanced Mentored Studies
Andrea received her M.F.A. from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Before coming to the Ranch,
she taught as an Assistant Professor at Lake Forest College and Willamette University. She exhibits
nationally and internationally with numerous shows throughout the Americas, Europe, China and the
Middle East. Andrea has received numerous awards and grants for her work.
