is a place for artistic discovery, criti- cal dialogue and community. Nestled among the pristine peaks of the Rocky Mountains in Snowmass Village, Colo- rado, Anderson Ranch lies just fifteen minutes from Aspen and 160 miles west of Denver. The fresh mountain air is as rare as the experience you’ll have here at 8,200 feet. During the summer, our beautiful five- acre campus is a hub of creative energy and activity. Workshops are taught by renowned faculty in fully-equipped stu- dios, all designed to encourage access and exchange of ideas. Students meet on campus over meals in the café, in the library and at open- ings in our Patton-Malott Gallery. We offer stimulating talks and lectures several times a week, fostering dialogue on contemporary art and art making. All workshop participants are encouraged to attend these on-campus events, which are also free and open to the public. Anderson Ranch has a long history of stimulating creative discovery and enhancing the greater role of contem- porary art in society. These roots run deep and form the bedrock of Anderson Ranch’s core values: people, partnership, community, sustainability and creativity. We invite you to experience Anderson Ranch Arts Center.
