4. Meet Your Napa Neighbors
Forget block parties - yard sales give you the chance
to mingle with your neighbors and learn more about
your community and its residents. The Napa Citywide
Community Yard Sale is a wonderful way to meet new
people in your neighborhood and community. You often
find people walking around yard sales holding a coffee with
a smile on their face. Hosting a yard sale will bring your
neighborhood together, especially if you and your neighbors
work together to hold block or multi-family sales, as they
tend to draw more attention from customers. The Napa
Citywide Community Yard Sale is a fun, community event
that gives you an excellent opportunity to interact with old
neighbors and meet new ones.
5. Enjoy the Outdoors
One of the biggest benefits of hosting or attending the Napa
Citywide Community Yard Sale is to get outside and enjoy
the fresh air. It’s a whole different feeling from shopping at a
mall or any other indoor stores. Shopping at a yard sale puts
you in a good mood as you’re getting out, going through the
stuff, and meeting people face-to-face. This may release your
stress and make you a happier and more relaxed person;
similar to the way a farmer’s market is more relaxed than
a supermarket. The Napa Citywide Community Yard Sale
is especially fun when you can walk around from house to
h ouse and meet new people.
SELLERS:

in the City of Napa who are choosing to pass along usable

the landfill. Hold a sale of your own, coordinate with
neighbors for a block sale, or use this as an opportunity to
raise funds for a community group or charity. All profits
from your sale are yours to keep.
For just $29, we’ll take care of the marketing. We produce,
print, and distribute the Community Yard Sale map and
provide you with a City of Napa Community Yard Sale
sign so people will find you.
