Pre-Ballet 1
Both girls and boys are encouraged to attend and learn ballet class
fundamentals: basic positions and postures, getting accustomed
to proper classroom etiquette, learning through a reflection in
the mirror, and open expression play/performance. Dancers
will explore movement with some props and tools to keep them
engaged in the process of an hour long disciplined practice.

Ballet Level 2
In Class II, repetition of the exercises already learned is done
in a greater quantity and at a faster tempo. The level II class
commences focusing on the development of the strength of the
legs and the insteps by means of alternating movements on the
whole foot, demi-pointe and ¾ pointe in preparation for mounting
on pointe for the ladies and stability in tours for the male dancer.
Instructor: s strive to make the enchaînements challenging,
interesting, both mentally and physically, while always keeping in
mind the development of the dancer as a whole without developing
poor habits.

At the beginning, the students execute all of the exercises facing
the barre, holding the barre with both hands. Later, the barre is
held with one hand and the exercises are done alternately with the
right and the left leg. After mastery of facing the barre, the student
continues holding the barre with one hand. For the more correct
adaptation of turn-out, the series of exercises is first studied to the
side, back and forwards, and backwards.
